Mike and Dad Take In A Shitty Bears Game

Mike Dahl and I went to the Packers at Bears game Sunday and we actually thought that the Bears were going to win. We were telling ourselves pregame that the Urlacher funeral was a distraction, and the embarrassment in NO last week would cause the team to just crush the Packers. We know now that those were faulty thoughts and that the Bears are exactly who we thought they were. Unfortunate;y, the Bears don’t seem to know that. They keep talking about how they have to play “Bears football”, but I think that they are playing “Bears football” (sadly). That’s a bummer, but I think it’s a reality bratwurst. Tom Thayer will be calling in on Monday’s DahlCast, and we can dissect the game further, but I’m not sure that the Bears are capable of much more than they have shown us the last couple of weeks. It won’t hurt to have Chris Harris and Earl Bennett back, along with a few others, but it seems like there’s something missing. The picture of Mike and me was obviously taken during those heady times before the 3:15 kickoff.
