I loves Me Some 16-inch Softball!
I played in my 4th 16-inch softball game ever tonight, and I have to say that I’m really sorry that I didn’t try it about 30 years earlier. Team Time Out Chicago played The Wall Street Journal, and we had a good competitive game. One of the WSJ dudes was wearing short shorts and I think I saw his cock when he slid into third base. Other than that, it was a good clean game. We won too, which always heightens the experience. I am 2 and 2 as a 16-inch hurler (who’s counting?), and Frank Sennett is really coming into his own as a manager. As a matter of fact, I had to tell him to calm down a couple of times. I also cheated, when breaking up a double play and lied about it to the umpire. I feel kind of bad about that, but hey, that’s how you play the game, right? We’ll talk about it on Wednesday’s Steve Dahl Podcast. We will also be talking to the incomparable Joseph Walsh on Wednesday show too, so if you’re not a subscriber, this might be a good time to hop on the bandwagon, no Joe Walsh pun intended.
