The Steve Dahl Show – July 6, 2012
On Today's ShowIn the Wheelhouse
Today we are trying to offer all of the contributors to the DahlCast something that they really love talking about and the result is one awesome Friday show. We begin our self-gratification by discussing Steve’s love of JoJo “Cookin’” Kincaid in his younger years. As an older JoJo he just doesn’t have the same appeal, but he makes Steve laugh just the same.
We then move to the area of R.A.P. (for extra emphasis) where Brendan Greeley gets to show off his knowledge of this musical genre. Brendan enjoys the “special beat” of a song that helps pay tribute to a late president.
Dag is on the road with his band, Expo ’76, so we invited Joe Gaspar, a.k.a (for extra emphasis) Frijole Joe, to sit in Dag’s spot on the world’s most comfortable couch. We talk bikes, bike paths and more with the man who helps Steve feel better about calling a man “guapo” last week.
Dino and Buzz both call in and each get to talk about subjects that are near and dear to their hearts. Dino talks self-loathing and ruined fireworks displays and Buzz talks Zombies, baths, Jamaica and his latest musical discovery.
We sincerely hope that today’s show is right in your wheelhouse. It most certainly was in ours. Have a great weekend!
